2.Students pursuing bachelors or masters degree (UG and PG).

3.Advocates, NGOs and Think Tank.

4.Government officers and employees of Government undertaking

5.Representatives of Regulatory Bodies.

GUIDELINES FOR DEBATE COMPETITION

•The competition will be a virtual one and will be conducted via the Jitsi Meet application.

•The debate will be chaired by a ‘speaker’, who will read out the motion.

•The participants will be required to prepare for both the sides – FOR and AGAINST the motion.

•Only solo registration if allowed, no team registration will be considered.

•Each participant will get 4 minutes for the debate. Exceeding the time limit shall be a disadvantage for the participant.

•One minute will be given for rebuttal to each participant.

•The participants are free to use either medium Hindi or English exclusively.

•Each participant must register with the Event and Coordination Team – LexAcharya India, by filling the registration form, after paying the registration fees.

•The confirmation will be given to the teams within two days of receiving the registration form and registration fees.

•The result of the judges shall be final and binding.

•The dress code for the activity is western or Indian formals.

•LexAcharya India reserves the right to alter or change the rules or procedures of the competition.

AWARDS AND PERKS

•Winner: Rs. 300 + Certificate of Appreciation (Winners Certificate) + Internship Opportunity.

•First Runners up: Rs. 200 + Certificate of Appreciation (Runners up Certificate) + Internship Opportunity.

•Second Runners up: Rs. 100 + Certificate of Appreciation (Second Runners up Certificate) + Internship Opportunity.

•Best Male Debater: Rs 100 +Certificate of Appreciation

•Best Female Debater: Rs 100+ Certificate of Appreciation

•E-certificate shall be given to all the participants of the Debate Competition.

MODE OF REGISTRATION

•There shall be a nominal fee of Rs. 70. The payment can be done through PhonePe/PayTm on 8847230400, Google Pay on 9630626622.

•After the payment, fill the given form below and attach the screenshot of payment. A confirmation mail shall be sent to the participant within 48 hours.
